Susan Larsen
Susan Larsen
Ms. Larsen has been representing the interests of small businesses and the construction industry since 1993 in Arizona and California as both a transactional counselor and an advocate in litigation. In over 20 years of practice, Ms. Larsen has represented her clients in the successful resolution of complex commercial disputes ranging from public and private construction litigation (including bid protests, delay and extra work claims, lien and bond claims, insurance coverage issues, surety issues, and defect), to business litigation, including trade secret and employee dishonesty disputes, partner disputes, real estate disputes, consumer fraud claims, and appeals. Moreover, as a transactional counselor, Ms. Larsen has formed and dissolved business entities, provided corporate guidance, and written and negotiated a vast array of contract documents, including construction prime and subcontracts, property leases, employment agreements, shareholder and partnership agreements, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, and software sales and licensing agreements.
Ms. Larsen recognizes that each dispute has a unique character requiring a variety of tools to achieve resolution. She is, therefore, fully conversant with all available methods of dispute resolution, including informal negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and trial before state courts, federal courts and administrative agencies. She is admitted to practice in the State and Federal Courts of Arizona, the State Courts of California, all four U.S. District Courts in California, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
